  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup whole milk (warm)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk and yeast in a bowl; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Mix in sugar, melted butter, and salt. Gradually add flour to form a soft dough.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  3. While rising, mix cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth; fold in chopped strawberries.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over it.
  5. Roll tightly into a log and cut into equal pieces.
